This year, we are proud to honor Alexandra Adame, philanthropist and champion of cancer research, in recognition of her extraordinary commitment to advancing lifesaving science. The Luncheon will also feature a special fashion presentation by Safiyya, continuing the event’s celebrated tradition of showcasing world-class design.
Funds raised at the support groundbreaking cancer research funded through the Samuel Waxman Institute for Aging & Cancer at The Mark Foundation for Cancer Research. The first-of-its-kind initiative will drive science aimed at improving healthier aging with less cancer for all.
Founded in 2014 in a New York City brownstone with just 45 guests, the Waxman Luncheon has grown into a premier philanthropic event, now welcoming more than 200 attendees annually. Over the years, renowned designers including Nicole Miller, Oscar de la Renta, St. John, Carolina Herrera, Derek Lam, Kobi Halperin,and Dennis Basso have presented their collections in support of vital cancer research.
